Było już jasne, że ciężko będzie podopiecznym Piotra Rozwadowskiego odwrócić losy meczu, tym bardziej że Basket pokazywał znakomitą skuteczność z gry. Obrona Widzewa pozostawiała zaś wiele do życzenia. Do przerwy to gdynianki zasłużenie prowadziły 49:30.

Po 15-minutowym odpoczynku obraz gry zupełnie się nie zmienił. Dominacja Basketu Gdynia nie podlegała dyskusji. Pewne siebie podopieczne Katarzyny Dydek z każdą minutą dobijały słabo dysponowany tego dnia Widzew, głównie za pomocą rezerwowych.

Ostatecznie Basket pokonał Widzew w stosunku 99:59. Najlepszą zawodniczką w meczu została Katarzyna Suknarowska zdobywając 26 punktów, 6 zbiórek, 10 asyst i notując EVAL na poziomie 38. Na uwagę zasługują również inne zmienniczki: Kamila Podgórna  14 pkt., Amalia Rembiszewska 12 pkt, Aneta Kotnis 12 pkt.

Zwycięstwem tym Basket Gdynia pożegnał 2015 rok w świetnym stylu.
