Basket Gdynia pokonuje na wyjeździe KSSSE AZS PWSZ Gorzów Wielkopolski 68:61 w ramach 5 kolejki ligi TBLK.

 

Już od początku pierwszej kwarty widać było, że Agnieszka Bibrzycka nie zamierza dopuścić do drugiej porażki z rzędu. W ciągu pierwszych 10 minut gry tylko dwie zawodniczki zdobywały punkty dla Basketu. 13 miała ich Agnieszka, a 5 dołożyła wysoka środkowa Shawnice Wilson i dzięki nim na tablicy widniał wynik 18:18.

Druga kwarta wygrana 19:6 przez zespół z Gdyni to dalsze popisy strzeleckie starszej z sióstr Bibrzyckich. Bardzo dobre wejście zaliczyła również Anna Jakubiuk. Najpierw celnie rzuciła za trzy punkty, a w następnej akcji trafiła rzut z półdystansu. Nad atakiem zespołu czuwała niezawodna Jelena Skerović, która schodziła na przerwę do szatni mając na swoim koncie 2 punkty, 6 zbiórek, 5 asyst i 3 przechwyty.

Tak słaba kwarta w wykonaniu akademiczek była głównie spowodowana stratami oraz dobrą grą defensywna przeciwniczek. Wynik do przerwy wynosił 37:24 dla Basketu.

Po zmianie stron zawodniczki z Gorzowa zabrały się do odrabiania strat. Najpierw Angel Goodrich zaliczyła asystę w szybkim ataku podając do Katarzyny Dźwigalskiej, a w następnej akcji sama zdobyła punkty celnym rzutem za 3 punkty. Po serii strat i niecelnych rzutów po stronie Gdynianek, akademiczki wyszły na prowadzenie 40:44. Wtedy 3 celnymi rzutami za 2 punkty popisała się Aneta Kotnis, a kwartę zakończyła Skerović celnym rzutem za trzy i po 30 minutach mieliśmy wynik 49:44 dla Basketu.

Początek 4 części spotkania to wymiana punkt za punkt. W 5 minucie Gorzowianki zaliczyły 7 punktową serię i doprowadziły do kolejnego remisu w tym spotkaniu. Wtedy do głosu doszły siostry Bibrzyckie. Najpierw Magda zdobyła 4 punkty, a następnie Agnieszka 5 i na tablicy widniał wynik 66:61. Na 40 sekund do końca akademiczki jeszcze walczyły ale po stracie Cassandry Brown faulowana była Skerović i po jej dwóch celnych osobistych nie było już szans wydrzeć Gdyniankom wygranej.

Na uwagę zasługują dokonania strzeleckie Agnieszki Bibrzyckiej. Na swoim koncie miała 26 punktów oraz 9 zbiórek. Równie udane spotkanie zaliczyła Jelena Skerović, która zgromadziła 7 punktów, 10 asyst i 10 zbiórek. Dobrą zmianę w 3 kwarcie dała Aneta Kotnis. Mecz zakończyła z dorobkiem 14 punktów.

Po stronie akademiczek najlepiej wypadły Amerykanki. 17 punktów zdobyła rozgrywająca Angel Goodrich, a 15 dołożyła Cassandra Brown.

Po tym zwycięstwie Basket Gdynia z bilansem 3:2 zajmuje 6 miejsce w tabeli.
